Our MissionThe Friends of the Hogar Rafael Ayau, NFP is organized to provide financial assistance to the Hogar Rafael Ayau Orphanage. Located in Guatemala City, Guatemala, the orphanage provides a home for orphans and under-privileged children received from birth to 7 years of age. The children stay until they reach 18 years of age or even older if they wish to stay until they finish college or establish their own families. Financial assistance provided by the Friends of the Hogar Rafael Ayau, NFP helps to fund adequate shelter, food, health care, educational, work-study, recreational and spiritual opportunities for the children. This enables them to live a full life in the safety of the orphanage as they prepare to be adopted by loving families or grow into adulthood and set out to live full and meaningful lives on their own.
